What data do we hold about you and how can you find out more?

What do we do with your data once it has been entered collected?

We retain a copy of your data electronically, for our records. Hard copies are retained if you decide to go into contract with us. We may transfer your data to a third party depending on the progression of your initial enquiry. We are open and transparent about this though, so please feel free to ask!

Who do we share your data with?

In order to provide you with our services, we may need to transfer your data to a third party such as estate agents and surveyors for valuation. Further details are available upon request and in any case, will be discussed with you prior to transfer. Spring may also invite you to review the services you have received from us. We use an external review platform, Trustpilot, which means we may share limited personal data, such as your name and email address, for this purpose. Trustpilot acts as a data processor on our behalf.  In very rare circumstances, we may be required to share your data with a law enforcement agency upon their request.

How long do we keep your data for?

We keep your data for a minimum of 12 months but an absolute maximum of 6 years. We only hold your data for as long as is absolutely necessary. In each case, the length of time that we hold onto an individual’s data for, will be different. This is because we may need to retain data longer if there is a dispute, to stop fraud or to comply with our legal obligations as a Company.

Cookie Policy

We may use “cookies” which are pieces of information stored on your hard drive (they do not pass on information from your hard drive). These enable us to track website usage, and make improvements to our online customer journey and experience. You can set your browser to block cookies if you prefer, but we cannot guarantee that all parts of the website will be fully functional if you do.
