A 20-year property investment veteran and industry figure, Cormac is co-founder of Spring and founder of National Property Trade, the predecessor operation to Spring. Cormac led NPT as CEO since its creation in 2007 to become the UKs leading B2C house buyer. Following a successful fundraise and rebrand, Spring has emerged as the leading B2B PX provider to the UKs leading housebuilders. In 2023, Cormac transitioned to Executive Chairman where he continues to contribute to Springs vision, business development and strategic projects.

At home

Cormac is currently immersed in all things Super Mario, Peppa Pig and toddler rugby with his 2 young children. When he gets a spare a moment, he likes to go on adventures and spend quality time with his wife Alice. He can be drawn to all manner of ocean endeavours, most recently swimming to France through the night with the St Margaret's Bay Spartans.

Shane began his career in 2001 as a derivatives trader with Barclays Capital in London, before heading up desks in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He joined NPT in 2013 to run their trading and finance departments, whilst simultaneously founding Stonehaven Asset Management, the manager of an investment fund dedicated to financing NPT’s property trading activity. He led the company’s 2019 fundraise, securing the private equity and debt investment that set the stage for its transformation into Spring and subsequent growth into the UK’s leading house buyer. As Co-CEO, Shane is part of the Executive Team responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction, and heads the trading, finance and technology teams.

At home

When he’s not either watching or playing a sport (any sport!!), he can usually be found driving his kids to one of theirs. Recognising that his athletic is ability will soon go the way of his hair, he’s now taken up less physically demanding pursuits like cryptic crosswords and chess…with mixed results. He’s also a major foodie, loving to cook for friends and family, but mostly to eat, which isn’t doing much to prolong his sporting career.

Samar spent the first 10 years of her career as an Investment Banker at JPMorgan after which she switched tracks, co-founding and running an e-commerce social enterprise for 6 years. After joining NPT in 2018 she was part of the Executive Team responsible for the fundraise that made NPT the best funded house buyer in the UK. She led the brand transformation of NPT to Spring in 2020, embedding a customer-centric approach throughout the organization. Her accumulated knowledge in strategy, scaling-up, marketing and operational excellence led to her appointment as Co-CEO in 2023.

At home

You’ll always find her nose in a book. She has lived in 9 countries but misses her hometown of New York City the most. She loves hikes that end in in a country pub but it’s her 3 kids Anaia, Isha and Kiyan that keep her constantly on the go. Her boxer dog, Yoyo, is probably driving her crazy at this very moment.

Oliver oversees buying, selling and the portfolio team. He assists in underwriting, presenting offers, managing B2B relationships, managing solicitors and timescales.

At home

Oliver loves to travel, either on his motorbike or with his family exploring new places near and far. He enjoys going on adventures and making wonderful memories.

Overall responsibility for the accounting function, including statutory and management accounts, tax compliance, payroll and planning.

Jo manages Spring’s B2B partners to ensure our Powered by Spring solutions deliver exactly what their business needs. Managing her team of Relationship Managers, Jo oversees all onboarding of our new partners and manages every aspect of their journey with Spring to ensure we always go above and beyond.

Jo loves keeping fit and has completed numerous 10ks & half marathons. Loves walks in the welsh country side with her Toy Poodle and spending time with her family and friends

James runs Spring's B2B, Developer, Asset Management and Estate Agency Partnerships, working to build lasting and beneficial relationships with the UK's market-leading high-street brands.

At home

James is passionate about improving education in the community and loves doing DIY - especially redesigning and refurbishing properties. Sunny beaches and forest walks with his family are his favourite ways to recharge.

Sam overseas the underwriting team, whose job it is to assess the value and any risks associated with our customers' properties, whilst aiming to make the provide the best offer possible to suit their circumstances.

Sam is training to run a marathon next year. He plays guitar and keyboard as a hobby, although is not very good at either! He has an advanced open water diver certification and loves to scuba.

Simon is Head of Progression and oversees the sale of all properties acquired by Spring. Liaising with corporate clients, agents and buyers alike, to ensure a smooth and speedy transaction.

Simon enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters and their partners. Also keeping fit with 3 to 4 weekly gym spin classes, watching most sports and enjoys eating out with the odd drink or 3.

Natalie looks after all the HR related matters and supports the organisation and staff to ensure that they are working in a happy and productive environment.

Liz ensures we provide an excellent end to end experience to all our customers and partners. Managing the team of Property Advisors, who are the first point of contact for many customers and partners, Liz ensures their journey with Spring is simple and stress-free. Liz also implements ways to digitally transform our services supporting technology across all customer & business touch points.

Liz enjoys walks by the sea, eating out, and the odd cocktail or two. Traveling abroad, seeing as much of the world as possible. Her guilty pleasure is watching premier league darts.

Nancy is Spring’s inhouse Conveyancer (Specialist Property Lawyer) who works with external legal teams. She deals with the legal aspects of buying and selling properties at Spring.

At home, Nancy will travel as often as possible, loves cooking and daily dog walks but still hopeful of conquering the art of gardening one day.

Sharon looks after our Spring B2B partners, working closely with their teams to ensure all key relationships are maintained effectively. Sharon travels throughout the UK visiting clients and provides training and support for partner open day events.

Sharon enjoys traveling and exploring new places, also likes going to the gym, socializing with friends and family and loves a bottomless brunch!

Emanuela supports all departments here at Spring helping to co-ordinate and manage special projects, she also provides administration support for the B2B teams and manages the day-to-day running of the office.

Emanuela loves cooking and trying different cuisine from everywhere in the world. She currently has around 50 cook books in her kitchen, and has recently obtained Level 1 WSET as a wine connoisseur. In her spare time, she also enjoys DIY and woodwork.

As part of the finance team, Sharon co manages Spring accounts, handling and setting up utilities, council tax and various accounts when needed.

Valerie is one of the first points of contact for our customers here at Spring, guiding through their home buying journey so it's a stress free and smooth process.

Valerie loves social gatherings with family and friends, serving plenty of home cooked food along the way. A keen participant in sports including tennis and netball, Valerie has also recently started learning French online and loves it! Bonjour et au revoir!

Hayley is involved in onboarding new B2B partners, and is responsible for updating details on the CRM to ensure accurate reporting. She also assists with analysis to help develop further partnership opportunities.

Tina monitors the day to day financial activity of the company, this allows performance to be measured so management can make fully informed decisions about the business.

When she is not out walking in nature or reading classical novels, she is planning her next adventure. Her last one was a Vespa road trip around Sicily, camping at the foot of Mount Etna and swimming on the coast.

Amanda-Jayne is a Sales Progression Manager, who manages a portfolio of both B2B and B2C properties acquired by Spring, from instructing marketing to progressing sales through to completion.

Amanda-Jayne enjoys gardening and feels the reward of watching things grow from seed. She also enjoys being in the kitchen and letting her creative mind turn a plate of food into a piece of art.

Michael’s role at Spring is to ensure our portfolio of properties are managed correctly, overseeing the valuation and sale of our properties. He also works with estate agents up and down the country helping obtain valuations for our acquisitions.

Michael enjoys numerous outdoor pursuits and spends his spare time throwing himself downhill on a bike, hiking, snowboard, or getting into scuba gear. When he is relaxing, he enjoys socialising and spending time walking his two dogs.

Phil oversees key company projects to grow, streamline and innovate Spring’s dedicated customer-focused services, plus manages technical projects as well as training.

Phil is a professional voice artist on the side! When he’s not talking to himself in a booth, he loves hiking, running and gaming.

Alison loves mud-runs, and even lost a trainer in her last 10k event! She relishes days out with her family at the beach, gym classes, long walks with her dog Dennis, and nipping away for girls weekends.

Dan performs a variety of roles within Spring along specific responsibilities including analysis and underwriting for the customer-facing side of Spring, along with B2B property transactions. With over 20 years’ experience in the real estate industry, he works towards delivering the reliable, efficient experience our customers deserve.

Dan likes spending time with his wife and two children travelling abroad, visiting theme parks, writing and playing chess. A big fan of science fiction he is frequently seen wearing T-shirts adorned with obscure sci-fi references that only true geeks would appreciate.

Hannah underwrites the offers on the properties we are asked to assess, taking into consideration the home's unique qualities and situation and sniffing out the best comparables to create her valuations.

Hannah is a mum to 2 small children. She wishes she had been bought up in the 50’s - she loves the era's fashion & music. Enjoys sewing, baking and soap making, going to the gym and running.

Rebecca manages all the B2B on the market properties and sold subject to contract cases, negotiating offers and tracking them through to exchange. Also participates in some buying and relationship management duties.

Rebecca likes to read and look after her 2 cats, Presley and Lolly, as well as socializing with friends and family.
